Why We Built This Site
Michigan gives the public broad access to court records, and Branch County is no exception. The hard part is figuring out which office holds the file you want. The County Clerk is the clerk for the 15th Circuit Court and keeps circuit felony, civil, and domestic-relations files, along with marriage, birth, death, and naturalization records on the first floor of the courthouse at 31 Division St. in Coldwater. The 3-A District Court handles traffic, misdemeanors, small claims, and landlord-tenant matters. The Probate Court covers estates, guardianships, conservatorships, and mental-health cases. The Sheriff runs the county jail on Keith Wilhelm Drive. Add the statewide MiCOURT case search and the Michigan vital-records office, and the picture gets crowded fast. - We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
